GG News: 2023 Women’s World Cup Qualifications

GG News: The 2023 Women's World Cup is right around the corner and in the last two days we have finally received a complete line up of the 32 teams who have qualified to compete. This years cup will be hosted in two countries Australia and New Zealand; play is scheduled to begin in mid-July and will end in mid-August. While the traditional soccer powerhouse countries will be making an appearance: USA, Brazil, Japan, Germany to name a few, this year there have been some delightful new qualifications. Haiti, Portugal, and Panama were able to secure their spots in the final line up of teams, each making their first appearance. The FIFA executive board is excited to welcome all of its teams and is looking forward to another competitive World Cup.
